About The Position
Byrider is growing and has an opening for an Automotive Technician/Mechanic. This role involves diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles, including occasional engine and transmission swaps (no rebuilding). The position guarantees 45 hours a week with Monday-Friday daytime work hours in an A/C & Heated Shop. Employees have the opportunity to drive company cars home and there is no requirement for upselling or overbilling customers. Byrider has been in business for 37 years.
Requirements
- Diagnostic Auto Tech/Mechanic experience
- Valid driver's license
- Set of tools (specialty tools provided)
Responsibilities
- Diagnose & repair customer vehicles
- Occasional engine & transmission swap (no rebuilding)
- Test drives as needed
- Help ensure a safe work environment
Benefits
- Annual compensation total: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00
- Top hourly pay based on experience (NOT FLAT RATE)
- Signing bonus up to $5,000.00
- Monthly bonus of up to $500.00
- Annual tool bonus of up to $1,000.00
- 45 hours a week is guaranteed
