About The Position

We’re a growing, professional automotive repair shop looking for a skilled Automotive Technician who wants great work-life balance without sacrificing pay or pride in their craft. Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first. All 300+ CBA locations offer a modern facility equipped with manufacture-level diagnostic equipment and the latest factory scan tools. CBA shops also offer their technicians a consistent workload, free training, full-time live technician support and access to our private Technician Assistance Center.

Requirements

Experience as an automotive technician (all levels considered)
Strong diagnostic and repair skills
Pride in quality work and doing things the right way
Team-first mindset and positive attitude
Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest
5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
Strong capability of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
Strong Leadership and communication skills
Professional appearance and strong communication
A desire for long-term career development

Nice To Haves

ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
Future Franchise Leadership Academy (FFLA) - Path to Shop Ownership Available

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair all makes/models of vehicles
Meet or exceed hourly goals
Perform quality work
Work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
Use hand tools efficiently
Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
Drive manual transmissions vehicles
Navigate a computer efficiently
