About The Position

We are an established, locally owned automotive repair shop in Rochester with a reputation built on honest recommendations, quality repairs, and taking care of customers the right way. We have a busy shop, loyal customers, and a team that takes pride in doing great work without cutting corners. We’re looking for an Automotive Technician / Mechanic who has a solid foundation of experience and wants an opportunity to continue learning and advancing in the field.

Requirements

• 2+ years of automotive repair experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while also being part of a team
• A commitment to quality workmanship
• A desire to continue learning and advancing as an automotive technician
• Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

• A New York State Inspector’s License is a plus.
• ASE certifications are also a plus and will be considered when determining compensation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical concerns
• Brake, steering, and suspension repairs
• Engine diagnostics and performance work
• Preventive maintenance and general repairs
• Tire, wheel, and alignment-related service
• Starting, charging, and battery systems
• Exhaust and drivetrain repairs
• New York State inspections, if licensed
• Clearly communicating findings and recommended repairs to the service team
