About The Position

Main Street Auto (Doug's Automotive Griffin, GA) is looking for an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician / Mechanic who wants stable hours, top-tier pay, and a place to build a long-term career. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles with accuracy and efficiency. The technician will also take the lead on complex jobs and support other technicians when needed. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an A-Level Automotive Technician
• Strong diagnostic skills (electrical & mechanical)
• Ability to handle complex repairs independently
• Experience using modern scan tools and shop software
• Excellent communication and time-management
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostics for engine, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Complete repairs efficiently and safely
• Work with service advisors on repair recommendations
• Maintain clean, organized work areas
• Use scan tools, testing equipment, and shop software
• Support and mentor junior technicians
• Communicate clearly with teammates and leadership
• Stay up-to-date with tools, technology, and best practices
