About The Position

America's Auto Auction is a growing automotive auction seeking an Automotive Technician/Mechanic. This role offers top hourly pay, a Monday-Friday schedule with no nights or weekends and an early out on Fridays, and a full benefits package. The position involves diagnosing, repairing, and servicing various vehicle systems, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills and at least 3 years of automotive diagnostic experience.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of Automotive Diagnostic experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Able to pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

Always provide efficient and courteous service to all customers.
Diagnoses, coordinates inspection, repair and service of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and components of cars, vans, and light trucks.
Carries out complex engine tune-ups, diagnose complicated faults or malfunctions to determine extent of repairs required.
Adjusts, repairs, or replaces parts and components.
Oversee the cleaning, lubricating and other routine maintenance work on equipment.
Disassemble, overhaul, and reassemble engines and other major units as necessary.
Maintain clean, orderly work area free of safety hazards.
Work well independently as well as a team player.
Timely communication of issues that may be deemed as detrimental to the success of operations to Management.
Performs other duties as necessary.
