Requirements
- Current or previous GM Master Technician Certification
- 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience
- Strong diagnostic, drivability, and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Proven ability to efficiently produce high-quality flat-rate hours
- Valid Driver's License
- Commitment to quality repairs and customer satisfaction
Nice To Haves
- ASE Certifications
- Leadership or mentoring experience
- Extensive experience with advanced diagnostics and module programming
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
- Performing advanced diagnostics on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems
- Utilizing GM diagnostic equipment and repair procedures
- Completing customer-pay and warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Assisting with difficult diagnostic cases and supporting fellow technicians
- Communicating repair recommendations and vehicle conditions with Service Advisors
- Maintaining high productivity while delivering exceptional workmanship
- Participating in ongoing GM manufacturer training and certification programs
- Staying current on technical service bulletins and emerging vehicle technologies
- Maintaining a safe, organized, and professional work environment
