About The Position

Hyundai Santa Monica, a leading Automotive Dealership, is seeking a highly motivated Express Service Technician. This role involves performing routine maintenance and minor repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the success of the service department. Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• 18 years or older required
• All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing including a background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of prior experience as an Automotive Express/Lube Technician.
• Retail experience from AutoZone, Jiffy Lube, Pep Boys, or independent shops.
• Degree or certificate from a trade school is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations and filter replacements.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunction of vehicles and perform repairs.
• Accurately document record of all repairs, services and maintenance performed on vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Collaborate with service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
• Perform maintenance and repairs with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
