About The Position
Lexus of Dayton, a Hudson Automotive Company, is actively seeking Experienced Automotive Technicians to join their award-winning, high-volume service team. Technicians will work in a clean, climate-controlled shop with new equipment and have access to training, resources, and support for career development. Requirements
- 3-5+ years of professional Automotive Technician experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
Nice To Haves
- Lexus, Toyota, or other manufacturer dealership experience
- Manufacturer certifications
- ASE certifications
- Advanced diagnostic and electrical experience
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards
- Diagnose vehicle concerns using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Test-drive vehicles to diagnose concerns and verify completed repairs
- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC systems, and other vehicle components
- Communicate repair findings and additional service recommendations with Service Advisors
- Provide accurate repair timelines when additional work is required
- Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Work closely with the Parts Department to obtain needed components
- Accurately document repairs, diagnostic findings, and completed work
- Participate in ongoing manufacturer training and professional development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Maintain productivity while consistently delivering high-quality workmanship
