This role supports Automotive Systems Validation Engineers with hardware and software validation tasks, including test execution and data collection. You will work with lab instrumentation to debug boards and sensor interfaces, run and adapt Python scripts for data parsing, logging, and automated test control, process and visualize test data to identify anomalies and summarize results, record test procedures, observations, and results, and learn and apply production-level engineering standards, safety practices, and validation workflows. You will also coordinate with cross-functional teams to reproduce issues, escalate findings, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Current student working on a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Quality Assurance preferred
  • Entry-level Python familiarity including basic data structures, class usage, and scripting
  • Basic hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and thermal probes
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Pyplot or MATLAB and Microsoft 365 for reporting
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Support Automotive Systems Validation Engineer (post‑silicon) with hardware and software validation tasks including test execution and data collection
  • Work with lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, multimeters, thermal probes, digital power supplies) to debug boards and sensor interfaces
  • Run and adapt basic Python scripts for data parsing, logging, and automated test control
  • Process and visualize test data using M365, Pyplot, or MATLAB to identify anomalies and summarize results
  • Record test procedures, observations, and results in engineering trackers and contribute to test reports
  • Learn and apply production‑level engineering standards, safety practices, and validation workflows
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to reproduce issues, escalate findings, and implement corrective actions
