About The Position

Xcite Automotive is seeking an Automotive Spray & Undercoating Technician for our partner dealers in Fallston, Maryland! This is a hands-on automotive production position involving vehicle movement, automotive lifts, spray equipment, vehicle inspections, and quality control. Direct undercoating experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with related automotive, spray-coating, detailing, body-shop, manufacturing, or production experience are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting company MVR requirements.
  • Ability to safely operate automatic-transmission vehicles.
  • Ability to read and follow work orders, safety instructions, chemical labels, and equipment procedures.
  • Ability to safely learn and operate automotive lifts and spray equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, work beneath raised vehicles, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to pass required pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

  • Apply protective undercoating evenly to vehicle underbodies.
  • Safely move and position vehicles in the work area.
  • Raise and lower vehicles using approved automotive lift procedures.
  • Prepare vehicles and protect components from overspray.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after service for damage, coverage, and workmanship.
  • Operate and clean spray guns, hoses, compressors, and related equipment.
  • Follow all PPE, chemical-handling, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and productive work area.
  • Report vehicle damage, equipment problems, safety concerns, or quality issues.
  • Meet daily production and quality expectations.
