About The Position

PM Lube, LLC, a franchisee of Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC), is seeking an Automotive Service Writer/Advisor. This role involves establishing and maintaining good customer relationships, creating repair orders, communicating with technicians, explaining estimates, keeping customers informed about their vehicles, and reconciling paperwork. Requirements

Automotive experience (two years or more preferred)
Reliable transportation to and from work
Have effective interpersonal, oral, and communication skills
Bilingual applicants preferred

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with auto estimating software R.O. Writer is preferred

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business
Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
Create repair orders and communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
Explain repair estimates and obtain customer approval before proceeding with repairs
Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles throughout the repair process
Reconcile daily and weekly paperwork for finance records
Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimize comebacks
Communicate directly with customers and relay vehicle issues to the Mechanic
Suggest maintenance and repair services to the customer based upon vehicle’s diagnosis
