Requirements

Previous automotive technician experience preferred
Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to pass pre-employment background screenings

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and maintenance specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems to identify concerns and verify repairs.
Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional repairs or services needed.
Provide accurate estimates of the time required for additional repairs.
Complete warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
