About The Position

Join our store as a 310S Licensed Automotive Service Technician in London, ON, and work in a dealership-level shop servicing all vehicle brands. You will perform everything from routine maintenance to complex diagnostics, with proficiency in Diesel systems, electrical systems, transmissions, engine repairs/replacements, and advanced troubleshooting. This full-service retail shop has established the Light Duty Fleet Centre business and is ideal for motivated professionals eager to work on compact cars, domestic vehicles, and light-duty fleets. Requirements

• Certified as an Automotive Service Technician 310s or Licensed Mechanic.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignment.
• Skilled at inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, service, and repair on various vehicles.
• Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Motivated, positive attitude, respectful work environment, and develop team members in a positive atmosphere.
• Being safety conscious is of utmost importance - always wear required PPE and follow instructed work protocols.
• Legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Diesel systems, electrical systems, transmissions, engine repairs/replacements, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Experience working on compact cars, domestic vehicles, and light-duty fleets.
• Passion for mentoring apprentices and growing the future generation of mechanics.
• Potential to become a Lead or "Head Tech".

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
• Mentor and coach apprentices, sharing expertise and helping develop their skills in a supportive, learning-focused environment.
• Collaborate with a highly skilled team, working on an array of vehicles, from standard passenger cars to light trucks.
• Assist in identifying potential mechanical opportunities with the Sales team.
• Ensure the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained.
