Requirements

Mazda/ASE certification required
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mainline automotive technician required
Proficient in vehicle diagnostics, inspections, maintenance, and repair
Must provide your own tools and toolbox
Strong troubleshooting, communication, computer, and teamwork skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical demands of the job
Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and document findings with recommended maintenance or repairs.
Communicate additional repair needs and estimated completion times to the Service Advisor.
Complete repairs according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
Perform warranty repairs in compliance with manufacturer specifications.
Maintain accurate repair documentation and ensure quality workmanship.
Contribute to a safe, clean and productive service department.
