Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent, required
Minimum 1 year of Automotive diagnostics working experience
Minimum 1 year of Diagnosis, Suspension, Brake Repair, and Manual Transmission work
Ability to multi-task in a demanding environment
Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
Valid CA driver's license

Nice To Haves

Automotive dealership service department experienced (preferred)
Previous dealership or equivalent working experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Performing inspections, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and completing all repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards and company policies.
Performing work specified on repair order in accordance with dealership and certification policies.
Communicating with service advisors to inform customers of possible additional work needed.
Performing warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications and required certifications.
Clarifying description of problems with service advisor; conducting inspections; taking test drives; checking vehicle maintenance records.
Completing thorough inspection of all vehicles for safety concerns, repair and maintenance needs.
Developing estimates using multi-point inspection systems.
Completing repairs by describing problems and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required or recommended; entering repair documentation into the repair order service database system.
Maintaining current manufacturer training(s) credentials.
Maintaining a current CA driver's license.
Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications and other customer service or sales related periodicals.
Enhancing organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
