About The Position

Serra Chevrolet Buick GMC is setting customer service and parts sales records month after month, and we need to add EXPERIENCED TECHNICIANS to our team. This is YOUR opportunity to make a final career move, as most of our team are long-time employees and will enjoy retiring from our store. We have a leadership team with over 100 years of combined Service experience who understand technicians' daily hurdles and work with the team to overcome any challenges. We offer ZERO mandatory SATURDAYS for line technicians. We also have the GM Technician Excellence Program, which offers a $250 - $1,500 training bonus per calendar quarter with a DEALER MATCH OF 100%, making the potential quarterly payout $500 - $3,000 for qualified GM-trained techs. Additionally, the Albert M. Serra Scholarship Program awards $1,000 annual scholarships (up to 5 years) for ALL qualifying dependent children of qualifying Serra associates to help pay for books, tuition, and/or room and board for post-secondary education. We promote from within for future career growth. Saturday shop availability is offered for techs that want to take advantage of the extra hours.

Requirements

• Good work history with at least three years of experience preferred
• GM Certification a plus
• High School diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• The desire to be the best
• All applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems to ensure customer satisfaction
• Communicating directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
• Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
