Experienced Automotive Service Technician
About The Position
At Volvo Cars Midlothian Service Center, we focus on preventative maintenance to help customers avoid more serious car repair problems, saving them time, money, and hassle. We offer services such as oil changes, tire center services, battery repair, brake repair, wiper blade replacement, power steering flush, and transmission service. We are seeking experienced, full-time Automotive Technicians to join the Haley Volvo Midlothian team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. You will collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality service. Your expertise and attention to detail are crucial for ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician
- Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid and clean driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree in Automotive Technology
- Master Mechanic
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification
- Certification with Volvo, Toyota, GM, Ford, or CDJR
- State Inspection License
- Experience with computer diagnostic systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Performing diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify problems
- Repairing or replacing parts as needed
- Maintaining accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Communicating with customers about their vehicle’s needs and providing recommendations
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
