Requirements

2+ years of automotive service technician experience preferred
B-level qualifications including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair
Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
Proficient with electronic diagnostic tools and equipment
Steady hands, solid hand-eye coordination, and a sharp eye for detail
Ability to absorb new technology, repair procedures, and manufacturer specifications
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a drive to keep growing
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Ford Certification preferred
prior Ford dealership experience is a plus
ASE Certification a plus

Responsibilities

Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently in accordance with dealership and Ford factory standards
Test-drive vehicles and assess components using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment
Perform warranty repairs to Ford manufacturer specifications
Keep service advisors updated on additional service needs and provide accurate repair time estimates
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
