About The Position

Bird Kultgen Ford is seeking Automotive Service Technicians who are Ford Certified or motivated to earn Ford certification. This role is ideal for technicians with a strong mechanical foundation who want consistent work, factory training, and long-term growth. You will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and complex repairs while maintaining Ford factory standards and delivering high-quality workmanship. Requirements

2+ years of automotive service technician experience preferred
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
Experience using electronic diagnostic equipment
Basic computer proficiency
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Team-oriented mindset
Commitment to continued training and certification
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to commute to or relocate to Waco, TX required
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs as outlined on repair orders
Diagnose vehicle concerns using factory diagnostic tools and road testing
Repair engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, HVAC, and electrical systems
Complete warranty repairs according to Ford manufacturer standards
Communicate repair findings and timelines clearly with Service Advisors
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
Keep a clean, safe, and organized workspace
