About The Position

Volvo Cars of South Bay is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician. This role involves performing a wide range of automotive services and repairs, including maintenance, diagnostics, and the disassembly and assembly of parts, components, and engines. The technician will be responsible for carrying out all duties in accordance with safety procedures and will work under immediate supervision, following pre-established guidelines. This position does not typically require independent judgment.

Requirements

2 or more years of previous experience in Automotive Service Technician role
Proficient at operating a personal computer including Microsoft Office: E-Mail, Excel and Word
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
Confidence in your ability to be successful
Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written
A desire to work in a commission, performance-based, environment
Great attitude with high-energy personality
Excellent customer service skills
Professional appearance and work ethic
Timely follow-up
Ability to work well in a process-driven environment
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
