About The Position
Kunes Auto Group is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians to join their team. As the fastest-growing automotive dealership in the Midwest, Kunes Auto Group offers a dynamic environment for career growth. The role involves performing thorough inspections, diagnostic tests, and repairs on new and used vehicles, as well as conducting routine maintenance. Technicians will be responsible for ensuring high standards of work and timely completion of tasks, while also communicating with the service manager regarding necessary repairs and maintenance.
Requirements
- 3+ plus years of experience as a Service Tech in a dealership or service center is required
- Valid driver's license and a passion for all things automotive
- Your own tools
- Flexibility to work Saturdays on rotation
Nice To Haves
- ASE or OEM certifications a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections of new/used vehicles and identify any mechanical or electrical issues
- Conduct diagnostic tests to determine the root cause of any issues
- Repair or replace parts as necessary, such as brakes, tires, belts, hoses, and suspension systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance work are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner
- Communicate with the service manager and provide recommendations for any repairs or maintenance work that may be needed
