About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for an Automotive Service Technician for their brand-new facility at River Oaks KIA. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast-paced industry. The technician will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned, adhering to dealer and factory standards. The role aims to build customer loyalty by developing trust and confidence through effective vehicle diagnosis. This position offers the chance to join one of the country's largest and most successful automotive dealership groups, which is affiliated with over 25 brands and 50+ dealerships across seven states, employing over 3,500 people nationwide and ranking as the tenth largest automotive group in the country.

Requirements

Automotive Service Technician experience
ASE certification desirable
Excellent customer service
Strong communication skills
Valid Driver’s License
18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy

Responsibilities

Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
Maintains an organized work area
