About The Position
Kunes Auto Group, the fastest growing dealership in the Midwest is seeking an Experienced Automotive Tech to join our Woodstock CDJR team. This role involves performing thorough inspections, diagnostic tests, and repairs on new and used vehicles, as well as conducting routine maintenance. The technician will be responsible for ensuring high-quality work and timely completion of tasks, and will communicate with the service manager regarding necessary repairs and maintenance.
Requirements
- 1+ plus years of experience as a Service Tech required
- Valid driver's license and a passion for all things automotive
- Your own tools
Nice To Haves
- ASE certification a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections of new/used vehicles and identify any mechanical or electrical issues
- Conduct diagnostic tests to determine the root cause of any issues
- Repair or replace parts as necessary, such as brakes, tires, belts, hoses, and suspension systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance work are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner
- Communicate with the service manager and provide recommendations for any repairs or maintenance work that may be needed
