About The Position

Richard Chevrolet is seeking a skilled B or C Level Automotive Technician with a passion for cars and problem-solving. This role involves diagnosing and fixing complex automotive issues in a friendly and collaborative environment. The position offers a high compensation package, including quarterly bonus payouts, with an opportunity to earn $65,000-$120,000+ per year. As a Master of the Road, you will diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles, utilize the latest diagnostic equipment and tools, and collaborate with a team of knowledgeable professionals.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an automotive technician training program or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of experience as an automotive technician.
B and C Techs encouraged to apply!
Strong mechanical and technical skills, including proficiency with diagnostic equipment and tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and customer service skills.
Passion for cars and a commitment to excellence.

Nice To Haves

ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic tests to identify problems with engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, and other automotive components.
Repair or replace faulty parts, such as alternators, fuel pumps, and catalytic converters.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Use cutting-edge diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex issues.
Provide accurate estimates of repair costs and time needed for repairs.
Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to explain repairs and answer questions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
