Job Details Salary: $40,000 to $150,000 per year Job Type: Full Time Location: Bedford Hills, NY 15522 Position Overview As an Automotive Service Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining high customer satisfaction through expert diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of vehicles. Your work habits and ethics directly impact customer experience and company success.

Requirements

  • Experience in warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various vehicle makes and models.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed performance goals.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
  • Positive attitude with high energy.
  • Ability to read, comprehend instructions, and exercise sound judgment.
  • Valid state driver's license with a good driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • ASE certification or demonstrated technical aptitude required.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical or trade school degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately troubleshoot customer vehicle concerns using the latest technical and administrative tools.
  • Demonstrate courtesy and professionalism to every customer.
  • Assist as a secondary customer greeter in the Service Drive area to ensure all customers are acknowledged promptly.
  • Stay current with technical publications, Service Comm updates, and Asist terminal operations.
  • Perform vehicle services safely and correctly the first time.
  • Address original customer concerns before discussing additional service opportunities.
  • Inspect vehicles for potential additional service needs in line with local and factory recommendations.
  • Ensure vehicles are returned to customers clean or cleaner than when received.
  • Participate in factory and in-house training programs to maintain and enhance skills.
  • Complete all service paperwork accurately and attach necessary shop forms to repair orders.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, or Group Leader.
  • Maintain punctuality, report ready to work, and wear a clean company uniform.
