About The Position

Mercedes-Benz of Tacoma is seeking an entry-level Automotive Service Technician to join their service team. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Strong automotive background
Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Basic computer skills.
Basic mathematical aptitude
Ability to understand and apply common sense.
Clean driving record
Willing to submit to a drug screen.
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance including oil services, inspections, tire rotations, and other basic services.
Assist experienced technicians with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
Learn how to use automotive tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems.
Develop hands-on skills in mechanical, electrical, and vehicle systems.
Complete work according to Mercedes-Benz service procedures and quality standards.
Keep your work area organized and maintain a clean, professional shop environment.
Work with technicians, advisors, and parts personnel to support an efficient service operation.
Continue developing your technical skills with the goal of progressing into more advanced technician responsibilities.
