About The Position
Bolt Auto Care is looking for a motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our team. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working on vehicles, has a strong mechanical mindset, and wants to grow in the automotive repair industry. This role is ideal for an entry-level technician, apprentice technician, lube technician, tire technician, or someone who has been working in the field for a short time and is ready to build a long-term career.

Nice To Haves
- Previous automotive experience is helpful, but not required for the right person.
- Experience as a lube technician, tire technician, apprentice technician, shop helper, student technician, or junior technician is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Performing oil changes, fluid services, filters, bulbs, batteries, tire rotations, and other basic maintenance services
- Assisting with tire repair, tire replacement, balancing, and related services
- Completing vehicle inspections and documenting findings clearly
- Identifying maintenance needs, safety concerns, and visible vehicle issues
- Assisting experienced technicians with repairs and diagnostics when needed
- Keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Following shop procedures, safety standards, and service processes
- Using basic tools and equipment properly
- Communicating clearly with service advisors, technicians, and management
- Learning proper repair procedures, inspection habits, and diagnostic basics
- Working as part of a team to help provide a great customer experience
