About The Position

Gossett Motor Cars, a large privately owned Automotive Dealer Group in West Tennessee, is seeking experienced automotive technicians, both domestic and import. They are looking for top talent and offer significant earning potential, with top technicians earning six-figures. The company provides incentives and career advancement opportunities. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available, depending on skill and certification levels. The role requires an organized and experienced Service Technician.

Requirements

• Experienced automotive technician
• ASE and or factory certifications
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
• Must have clean & valid driver's license
• Strong teamwork skills
• Impeccable work ethics

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership procedures
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
• Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
