About The Position

Fountain Tire Meadow Lake is looking for a skilled and Licensed Automotive Service Technician to join their team. As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to diagnose and repair customer vehicles, perform scheduled maintenance, and advise customers on vehicle condition and future repair needs. The role also involves maintaining mechanical service equipment and operating vehicles safely. Supporting customer relationships by responding to inquiries is also a key aspect of the position.

Requirements

Licensed/Red Seal status in the Automotive Service Technician trade
Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to our customers
A diagnostic specialist that enjoys keeping up with modern technology
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Commitment to providing a superior customer experience
Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract from province of residence on an annual basis

Responsibilities

Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle
Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency
Completing approved service on customer vehicles
Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
Advising customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries
