About The Position

Bay Ridge Subaru, a reputable and fast-paced car dealership in Brooklyn, New York, is seeking to hire experienced Automotive Service Technicians (Flat Rate- A, B, or C) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of automotive systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a passion for providing quality service to our customers. As a Flat Rate Technician at Bay Ridge Subaru, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues, adhering to manufacturer guidelines, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in which you will be compensated generously for your skills and hard work. SIGN ON BONUS TO QUALIFIED CANDIDATE

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician; Subaru experience a plus
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Must have your own tools
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of automotive repairs and maintenance services, including but not limited to engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical system repairs
Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using appropriate tools and techniques
Follow manufacturer guidelines and specifications to ensure quality repairs
Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify and address mechanical and electrical issues
Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repairs and maintenance needed
Keep a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and guidelines
Continuously learn and stay updated on new vehicle models and technologies
