Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of Automotive Technician experience
  • ASE Certification required
  • Advanced mechanical knowledge including engine repair, diagnostics, and electrical troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of modern automotive systems and emerging vehicle technologies
  • Ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical concerns efficiently
  • Experience operating electronic diagnostic equipment and service technology systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Basic computer proficiency for repair documentation and service systems
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and maintenance outlined on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership standards
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, electrical systems, braking systems, HVAC systems, and drivability concerns
  • Perform vehicle inspections using advanced diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-specific tools
  • Test-drive vehicles and evaluate components and system performance
  • Communicate findings and repair recommendations with Service Advisors to ensure customers remain informed throughout the repair process
  • Provide accurate repair estimates and identify additional service recommendations when necessary
  • Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines and specifications
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following dealership safety procedures
