About The Position
Bird Kultgen Ford is seeking Automotive Service Technicians who are Ford Certified or motivated to earn Ford certification. This role is ideal for technicians with a strong mechanical foundation who want consistent work, factory training, and long-term growth. You will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and complex repairs while maintaining Ford factory standards and delivering high-quality workmanship.
Requirements
- 2+ years of automotive service technician experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Experience using electronic diagnostic equipment
- Basic computer proficiency
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Team-oriented mindset
- Commitment to continued training and certification
- Valid driver’s license required
Nice To Haves
- Ford Certified or motivated to earn Ford certification
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs as outlined on repair orders
- Diagnose vehicle concerns using factory diagnostic tools and road testing
- Repair engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, HVAC, and electrical systems
- Complete warranty repairs according to Ford manufacturer standards
- Communicate repair findings and timelines clearly with Service Advisors
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
- Keep a clean, safe, and organized workspace
