Automotive Service Technician or Apprentice
About The Position
Davis Chevrolet Claresholm is seeking a motivated Automotive Service Technician or Apprentice to join their busy Service Department. As business levels increase, they require another outstanding Service Technician to help meet customer needs. This role offers a positive work environment, the opportunity to be home every night, and to work with a company that treats employees like family and contributes positively to the community. Candidates can expect to make $38 per productivity hour or more, depending on experience and GM training. Apprentice technicians are also welcome to apply.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to perform heavy work, including frequent lifting more than 50 lbs.
- A valid Driver's License.
Nice To Haves
- Journeyman Automotive Service Technician license.
- Experience working in a General Motors dealership.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle repairs.
- Communicate automotive issues clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Document the story and work performed on the vehicle accurately.
- Lift more than 50 lbs.
