About The Position

This is a temporary full-time position for an Automotive Service Technician & Mechanic. The role involves diagnosing, adjusting, repairing, or overhauling automotive vehicles. Daily travel to various job sites located in multiple counties in Kansas is required. The job also requires the ability to lift and carry 50 pounds, with some overtime and weekends required. The workday is 8 hours, with hours potentially varying between 7 am and 7 pm. Optional employer-owned housing is available for $115.00 per week. Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance are offered, with deductions depending on the plan selected. Paid holidays are also provided. Workers are responsible for transportation to a designated pick-up location in Colby, KS; transportation to and from worksites will be provided from Colby, KS. No experience or education is required. The position offers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with overtime available. Merit-based raises are available at the employer's discretion. Onsite training and necessary tools, supplies, and equipment are provided free of charge.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul automotive vehicles.
Daily travel to various job sites located in Thomas, Sheridan, Graham, Rawlins, Cheyenne, Decatur, Sherman, Wallace, Logan, Gove, Trego, Norton, Greeley, Wichita, Scott, Lane and Ness counties in Kansas.
Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles.
