Requirements

• 3+ years of dealership technician experience -- Volvo or European brand experience required
• Strong used vehicle inspection experience -- you know how to assess a car thoroughly and document it accurately
• Proficient with Volvo diagnostic systems -- VIDA, DICE, or equivalent platform experience preferred
• Solid understanding of European vehicle systems -- electrical, suspension, powertrain, and ADAS
• Detail-oriented and accurate -- your repair orders are clean, your comebacks are rare
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• A craftsmanship mindset -- you take pride in the quality of every vehicle that leaves your bay

Nice To Haves

• Volvo factory certifications strongly preferred -- candidates actively pursuing certification are encouraged to apply
• ASE certifications a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, repair, and maintenance on Volvo vehicles to OEM standards -- from routine services to complex electrical and mechanical repairs
• Utilize Volvo diagnostic platforms and dealer-specific tools to accurately identify and resolve vehicle concerns
• Inspect and evaluate used vehicles -- providing thorough condition assessments that support reconditioning decisions and protect the guest experience
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently -- documenting findings, parts used, and labor performed with precision
• Communicate technical findings clearly to service advisors so guests receive accurate, trustworthy recommendations
• Stay current on Volvo technical service bulletins, software updates, and manufacturer repair procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation that reflects the standard of the brand
• Contribute to a team environment where quality, accountability, and craftsmanship are the baseline
