About The Position

Fountain Tire Virden is looking for a 1st - 4th year Automotive Service Apprentice to develop their mechanical skills in pursuit of a career as an automotive service professional. Licensed Mechanics are also welcome to apply. The role involves performing full diagnostic, repair, and mechanical services for cars, light trucks, and other vehicles. The position offers a dynamic work environment with a variety of vehicles and the opportunity to impress customers with professional and friendly service, while maintaining a focus on safety.

Requirements

• 1st or 4th year registered Automotive Service Apprentice or a Licensed Mechanic.
• Comfortable with all aspects of diagnostics and repair.
• Self-motivated technician who thrives in a busy shop environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract.

Responsibilities

• Perform full diagnostic, repair, and mechanical services for cars, light trucks, and other vehicles.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service.
• Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and coworkers.
• Keep customers on the road by ensuring their vehicles are in good working order.
