About The Position

San Francisco Honda Acura is part of Victory Automotive Group, a family-owned and operated company established in 1997 with over 50 locations across the United States. We are currently seeking a reliable and outgoing Automotive Service Porter to join our service department team at our San Francisco location. The Automotive Service Porter will be the first point of contact for customers arriving at the service department. This role involves greeting customers, facilitating a smooth handoff to the Service Advisor, and managing vehicle movements in the lot and service areas. The position requires the ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment and capability to drive vehicles with automatic and standard transmissions. Requirements

Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
Dependable and professional work ethic
Safety conscious and customer service oriented
Basic computer and internet skills
Strong communication skills
Professional appearance
Ability to read and follow instructions accurately
Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed

Responsibilities

Welcome customers with a professional and friendly attitude, answering questions and directing them appropriately
Install protective coverings in vehicles such as seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats
Park and move vehicles safely around the lot and service areas
Deliver keys and repair orders to Service Advisors promptly
Retrieve vehicles for customers during pick-up, providing excellent customer service by thanking them for their business
Maintain cleanliness and order in the shop and lot areas
Follow all safety and security procedures
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and educational classes as required
Perform other duties as assigned
