About The Position
The Service Porter at Shawnee Mission Kia plays a vital role in delivering a smooth, efficient, and customer-focused service experience. This position supports the service department by maintaining the flow and organization of vehicles, assisting service advisors and technicians, and ensuring the dealership’s service area reflects a high standard of cleanliness and professionalism.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Dependable, punctual, and professional appearance
Nice To Haves
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival
- Safely move, park, and organize customer and dealership vehicles
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service drive, shop, and parking areas
- Assist service advisors and technicians with vehicle staging and delivery
- Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel level, tire pressure, etc.) as needed
- Ensure vehicles are returned to customers in clean and presentable condition
- Shuttle customers or pick up/drop off vehicles when required
- Support overall dealership operations with additional tasks as assign
