About The Position

The Automotive Service Porter is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe service vehicle area. This role supports the service department by assisting with vehicle upkeep, lot organization, and overall cleanliness of the service environment.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and positive attitude.
Capacity to complete required safety and job-related training.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

Maintain a neat and orderly service vehicle lot, moving cars as directed following facility standards.
Clean the service department drive, write-up areas, and shop regularly.
Wash and clean service vehicles, including interiors, trunks, glove compartments, and engines using appropriate cleaning agents.
Apply specialized cleaners to remove difficult stains or materials, following safety and manufacturer guidelines.
Assist technicians in keeping the service department clean and organized.
Support property maintenance and overall dealership appearance.
Greet customers courteously and professionally upon arrival.
Complete all required training and adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
Perform tasks such as emptying trash, parking vehicles, driving shuttle, and policing dealership grounds.
Wear the company-approved uniform during work hours.
Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.
