As an Automotive Service Porter , you will play a key role in creating a positive experience for our service customers. You will greet customers warmly, assist with vehicle movements around the service lot, maintain cleanliness, and support service department operations. This role requires working outdoors or in non-climate controlled areas. You should be comfortable handling physical tasks and driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles. Requirements

  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented
  • Basic computer and internet skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Physical capability to bend, kneel, squat, stand for extended periods, and lift heavy objects as needed

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers entering the service area with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Install protective coverings such as seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats on vehicles brought in for service
  • Park customer vehicles in designated areas and deliver keys and repair orders to Service Advisors
  • Retrieve vehicles for customers upon completion of service and provide courteous assistance
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service lot and shop areas
  • Follow all safety and security guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
  • Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and educational classes as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the service department
