About The Position

Northwest Hills Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, part of the Sullivan Automotive Group, is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our Service Department in Torrington, Connecticut. Sullivan Automotive Group is a family-owned and operated dealership group serving Connecticut for three generations. We believe in taking care of our employees, building long-term customer relationships, and providing our teams with the tools and facilities they need to succeed. Requirements

Previous automotive service management experience is required
Strong leadership and people-management skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Solid understanding of dealership service operations and financial performance
Ability to motivate a team and hold employees accountable
Organized, professional and results-oriented
Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram experience is a strong plus

Responsibilities

Lead and manage service advisors, technicians and support staff
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and customer retention
Recruit, train, coach and develop Service Department employees
Monitor technician productivity, efficiency and shop workflow
Drive department sales and profitability while maintaining excellent customer service
Manage warranty processes and ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements
Maintain proper staffing levels and effective scheduling
Work closely with Parts, Sales and dealership management
Ensure dealership and manufacturer policies and procedures are followed
Build a positive, professional and accountable team culture
