About The Position

Automotive Service Manager - Leadership Track Davidson Automotive Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Service Operations leadership team. This role is designed for ambitious professionals with a clear path to becoming a Service Manager. During this comprehensive program, you will be embedded in all aspects of our Service Department, gaining deep insight into repair processes, technician management, customer service retention, and overall fixed-operations profitability. This position will enable you to develop the skills and operational knowledge necessary to successfully oversee and lead our Service department. This highly satisfying position has a starting income up to $75,000 , depending on education, prior experience, and previously acquired skills. Upon program completion, you will be eligible for a salary plus commission-based pay structure, with potential income of over $100,000+ . The hours for this management-track position will be Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM and is located in Watertown, NY. Job Description: Service Leadership Track This is a 12 to 18-month structured development path focused on mastering the automotive service business. You will work hands-on with our current Service Management team, focusing on: Creating a high-accountability environment for service advisors and technicians. Managing the service drive to maximize efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Fostering long-term customer relationships through exceptional service practices. Building a dynamic and skilled service team to achieve departmental goals. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Requirements: Prior experience in an automotive service environment (e.g., Service Advisor, Shop Foreman) is preferred, with a strong aptitude for leadership and fixed operations management. Upon completion of your training, this position will provide you with the skills and confidence to oversee, organize, and lead the entire Service Department within Davidson Auto Group. Valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
