About The Position
Davidson Chevrolet Buick GMC is looking for a Service Operations Manager to help lead our Service department! This role is ideal for proven leaders with strong transferable skills from backgrounds such as operations, production, retail, hospitality, or fleet management! The Service Operations Manager will be responsible for guiding the service department towards the common goal of established and efficient processes in the pursuit of customer satisfaction! Requirements
- 3–5+ years of leadership experience in operations, production, retail, hospitality, or fleet management.
- Proven experience managing teams and performance.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- A multi-tasker who can provide excellent customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Process-driven mindset.
- Proficiency navigating current technology and utilizing multiple systems.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- Prior Automotive experience.
- Prior experience with DMS systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop service teams.
- Manage schedules, workloads, and labor allocation.
- Implement standardized workflows and quality controls.
- Monitor KPIs, productivity, and performance metrics.
- Ensure high-quality customer experience.
- Address customer concerns in a timely manner.
- Ensure safety, regulatory, and process compliance.
- Partner with other departments to keep the Service department operations running smoothly.
- Remain knowledgeable about our current procedures and products.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
