Requirements
- At least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Able to pass pre-employment screening.
- Good understanding of automotive service.
- Computer proficiency.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage vehicles that are high priority.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an automotive service related role is preferred.
- Prior automotive retail, parts, independent shop, or dealership experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Accurately log part costs, labor hours, and shop fees into the auction management software to ensure correct billing for vehicle sellers.
- Open, track, and close high-volume internal repair orders (ROs) for auction vehicles needing mechanical attention.
- Estimate labor times and efficiently assign repair jobs to mechanics based on skill level and auction deadlines.
- Order mechanical parts from local suppliers, negotiate pricing, and track delivery to minimize technician downtime.
- Track weekly sale units and ensure this is kept at a high priority.
