About The Position

Blain’s Farm & Fleet is hiring an Automotive Service Center Manager Trainee. The role offers opportunities to develop technical expertise and leadership skills while preparing to manage a service center team. Trainees oversee and advise Service Advisors and Technicians, learn expense management, participate in hiring, and provide performance reviews and coaching. Upon completing the Manager Trainee Program, candidates must be available to relocate; relocation assistance is available. The base pay is $22.50 per hour, with an additional $2.50 per hour for Saturday and Sunday weekend work. Actual pay may be higher based on experience and other job-related factors. Requirements

Technical aptitude to tackle complex challenges.
Desire to lead and manage a team.
Valid driver’s license.
Desire to obtain ASE A4 and A5 certifications.
Availability to relocate upon completion of the Manager Trainee Program.

Responsibilities

Advance technical expertise.
Oversee and advise Service Advisors and Technicians.
Gain an understanding of expense management.
Participate in the interview and selection process.
Write and deliver performance reviews and provide progressive coaching when necessary.
