About The Position
Voss Village Cadillac is hiring an entry-level cashier/receptionist for the service department. The Cashier is responsible for receiving payments from customers, printing invoices, and ensuring customers are taken care of before they leave the service department. This role also involves maintaining current records and files, using a credit card machine, making change, answering phones professionally, taking messages, routing calls, and maintaining an organized and clean customer lounge area. Additional support tasks may be assigned by the service and parts department.
Requirements
- Basic computer knowledge
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to provide an excellent customer service experience
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Receiving payments from customers
- Printing invoices for the customer
- Ensuring the customer is taken care of before they leave the service department
- Keeping records and files current and in order for the service department
- Using a credit card machine and making changes when needed
- Answering phones in a professional manner, taking messages, and routing calls as necessary
- Maintaining the customer lounge area organized and clean
- Performing other support tasks assigned by the service and parts department
