About The Position

Ferman Chevrolet Tarpon Springs is seeking Automotive Service Advisors with at least 2 years of experience. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, building relationships, and delivering a best-in-class guest service experience. You will be responsible for understanding guest concerns, communicating them to service technicians, advising guests on vehicle maintenance, and actively selling service promotions to increase earnings.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years Automotive Service Advisor experience required.
  • Ability to achieve exceptional CSI scores.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Above average writing, telephone, and texting skills.
  • Proficient in using computers and tablets.
  • Ability to explain complex automotive terms and procedures clearly to guests.
  • Self-motivated, able to multi-task effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a valid US government-issued Driver's License.
  • Must have a safe driving record.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test.

  • Bi-lingual with proficiency in both English and Spanish.
  • Friendly, positive attitude, energetic, self-motivated, detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of vehicle mechanics and parts.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly and courteously, providing a best-in-class service experience from initial contact through vehicle delivery.
  • Conduct walk-around vehicle inspections with guests, accurately documenting service needs and concerns using an electronic tablet.
  • Consult with guests and service technicians to recommend necessary services, discuss future maintenance, and ensure guests understand the work required.
  • Create detailed Service Repair Orders, including accurate estimates for all work to be performed.
  • Maintain continuous communication with guests via phone, text, and email regarding vehicle status, changes, delays, or additional work.
  • Advise guests on vehicle care and maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Adhere strictly to manufacturer warranty guidelines and procedures.
  • Track and manage all open Repair Orders.
  • Oversee workflow and scheduling with the team of technicians.
  • Schedule maintenance appointments and follow-up service/repairs.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, and company policy, regarding customer information, company data, manufacturer information, and guest vehicle/property.
  • Strive to maintain excellent Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
