Automotive Service Advisor
About The Position
Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Service Advisor to join their Service team at Kendall Ford of Bozeman. This role is crucial in serving clients and acting as the first point of contact for customers in the service department, aiming to build lifelong service customers. The position operates in a fast-paced environment where advisors interface with customers, technicians, and salespersons to identify and sell vehicle repairs and maintenance, ensure work is performed correctly, make educated recommendations based on vehicle history, manage customer information, and communicate with customers via phone, email, and chat.
Requirements
- 2 years of service writing experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of automobile repair and maintenance is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license.
- A good driving record.
- High level customer service experience.
- Ability to demonstrate time management.
- Strong work ethics.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to make recommendations and prioritize items in order of importance for customers.
Responsibilities
- Interfacing with customers, technicians, and salespersons to identify and sell vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Verifying work was properly performed and diagnosed.
- Researching vehicle history to make educated recommendations.
- Inputting and maintaining customer information.
- Completing work tasks in an efficient and organized manner.
- Using telephone, email, and chat systems to communicate with customers throughout the day.
- Scheduling service appointments.
