About The Position

Buchanan Kia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team in Westminster, MD. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact between customers and our service department, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while efficiently managing service operations. Your expertise and dedication will help maintain and grow our customer relationships, providing valuable guidance and support throughout the vehicle service process.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or similar role.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance, and repairs.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with service software and computer systems.
Valid driver’s license and a reliable mode of transportation.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and warmly in person and over the phone.
Assess customer vehicle service needs and communicate effectively with the service team.
Provide accurate service estimates, explain maintenance and repair recommendations, and answer customer questions.
Schedule and coordinate service appointments and follow-ups.
Maintain detailed and accurate service records and documentation.
Resolve customer concerns and issues professionally and efficiently.
Support service department goals by meeting or exceeding sales and satisfaction targets.
