About The Position

Automotive Service Advisor Join Hunter Automotive Group Hunter Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to serve as the connection between our customers and service team. This position is ideal for individuals who excel at customer communication, relationship building, and coordinating vehicle service needs in a fast-paced dealership environment. Whether your experience comes from automotive service, hospitality, retail, or customer-facing roles, we are looking for someone who enjoys helping people and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, automotive service, or a related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to explain information clearly and professionally
  • Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple customer interactions and repair orders
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • Commitment to honesty and customer care
  • Interest in automotive service and vehicle maintenance

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Service Advisor experience is a plus, but not required
  • No advanced automotive knowledge is required. We are willing to train the right candidate who brings strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and discuss vehicle concerns and maintenance needs
  • Build trust through clear, honest, and professional communication
  • Deliver a positive service experience from vehicle drop-off through completion
  • Schedule and manage service appointments
  • Help maintain efficient workflow within the service department
  • Coordinate customer needs with dealership service operations
  • Work closely with technicians to understand vehicle conditions and recommended repairs
  • Clearly explain service recommendations and maintenance needs to customers
  • Communicate repair timelines, vehicle status updates, and service information
  • Maintain communication throughout the service process
  • Follow up after service visits to support customer satisfaction
  • Help build long-term customer relationships and loyalty
